THE NEW TRADER

THE EMINISCALP GOAL:

I imagine you have seen those commercials on TV which show a guy trading while sitting on the beach or someone standing next to his really nice new car and talking about how he made millions day trading. Just to put all of this in perspective, some people may experience a scenario such as that, but unless you devote your time and energy to be the best you can be, then it probably will not happen. But, this is not to say that situations like this can never happen. The opportunity is there to earn a large sum of money, but if you decide to day trade and you do not learn to do it correctly, then the same holds true for losing a large sum of money.  I focus on the Futures, especially the mini S&P(ES). I do not trade stocks nor do I teach anyone how to trade stocks, but that is not to say that my trading methods will not work for stocks or other futures markets. Personally, I feel that trading stocks is very time consuming, as one must spend hours after market close to study and select the stocks that they will trade the following day. Not to mention the account size needed to trade stocks. This requirement alone can deter even the most motivated trader. In contrast, trading futures does not require a large account and there is no need, as far as what I offer, to spend hours preparing for the next day. Also, the data and chart package needed to perform your trading tasks can, in some cases, cost you nothing. Or, you can spend a few hundred dollars a year for charting software and your only cost would be your trading commission. What you do not need in order to trade futures successfully is the expensive chart packages that many use. For the cost of an account, which may require about $3000 to open, you have the ability to begin your trading career and build a business right from home. The great part is that you can open a simulated trading account with the charting and data without any funds and no commitment. You may ask, how long will it take me to learn how to trade? That is a very difficult question to answer. My EMINISCALP method is very simple and the time to learn depends on you. Since you have the opportunity to earn what college graduates earn, or much more for that matter, the time should be no where near the 4 or 6 years most college programs require. With practice and devoted time, I would venture to say a couple of months or even sooner, but it does depend on your motivation and devotion to your own success. Actually, most traders are not profitable because of the stuff they have learned over the years. The most difficult part is the "unlearning" of all the bad habits they have accumulated. There are traders who have been doing this for over12 years and are still unsuccessful. That is because the general run of the mill info that is offered does not take into account how the market really trades. I have had quite a few new traders sign on over the past years and since they do not have the emotional baggage of continued market losses along with the problem of overcoming and "unlearning" all of the bad habits that were acquired over the years from methods that did not work for them, the rate of learning was remarkable.
